Pehchān means identity.

And for me, this brand is exactly that — a reflection of where I come from and the traditions that shaped me.

I grew up surrounded by colourful fabrics, handcrafted textiles, and traditions that felt like an ordinary part of everyday life. It wasn’t until I moved to Canada that I realized how much those colours, textures, and familiar details felt like home.

Pehchān was born from a simple idea: what if the traditions we grew up with could continue to be part of everyday life?

Not saved for special occasions, but used, loved, and carried with us every day.

Every Pehchān piece begins with 100% cotton and the centuries-old craft of hand block printing.

Working with skilled artisans in India, each pattern is printed by hand before becoming bags, pouches, table linens, bedding, and everyday essentials.

Because every piece is handmade, no two are exactly alike. The little variations aren't imperfections — they're a reminder that a real person made what you're holding.
